Yura Harness Cambodia Announces Expansion Plan
May 28, 2026, between H.E. Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Committee at the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), and a company delegation led by General Director Mr. DooYeun Lee.
PHNOM PENH – Yura Harness Cambodia, a South Korean-invested automotive wiring harness manufacturer, has announced plans to expand its operations in the Kingdom.
The announcement was made during a working meeting on May 28, 2026, between H.E. Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Committee at the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), and a company delegation led by General Director Mr. DooYeun Lee.
Since establishing its factory in Cambodia in 2022, Yura Harness Cambodia has grown to employ 1,100 workers. During the meeting, Mr. Lee reported on the company's continued progress and outlined expansion plans, including the need for additional workers and increased sourcing of local raw materials. He also discussed ongoing skills training programs for Cambodian employees.
Mr. Lee noted that after several years operating in Cambodia's automotive sector, the Kingdom offers high potential for automotive parts manufacturing. He also shared observations aimed at further improving Cambodia's investment climate.
H.E. Chea Vuthy welcomed the expansion plan and reaffirmed the Royal Government's commitment to enhancing the investment environment through infrastructure development and continued support for the private sector.
