PHNOM PENH – May 19, 2026 – RMA (Cambodia) Plc. is pushing beyond vehicle assembly, with new plans to launch automotive component manufacturing and create hundreds of jobs for Cambodians, following a high-level meeting with the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).
On May 18, 2026, CEO Mr. Ngorn Saing met with H.E. Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Board, to discuss the company's expanding footprint in the Kingdom's automotive sector.
Mr. Saing provided updates on the Ford vehicle assembly plant while unveiling the company's strategic direction to move into component manufacturing — a move that would deepen Cambodia's automotive supply chain. He also raised current market challenges facing the industry.

H.E. Chea Vuthy welcomed the expansion, praising RMA's continued commitment to Cambodia. He emphasized that the new projects will drive socio-economic development and, most importantly, create jobs for Cambodian citizens.
