MLVT: Employers Must Complete Labour Inspections Online by June Deadline

PHNOM PENH – June 2, 2026 – The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MLVT) has reminded all business owners and directors of enterprises, companies, and factories to comply with the mandatory self-declaration for labour inspections through the automated system.
According to an official announcement, employers are required to complete two self-declaration labour inspections per year under the automated system. The first submission must be made in June, and the second in December of each year, via the website https://sicms.mlvt.gov.kh.
If the automated inspection system identifies any non-compliance, employers must correct their practices within 30 days. Failure to make corrections will result in legal action by labour inspectors.
Employers who fail or neglect to submit the self-declaration by the deadline will face fines and further measures from labour inspectors in accordance with applicable laws.
